A new CSD 30" – for the Port of Portland

A versatile, methanol-ready CSD

C-Job proposed a new CSD concept design for the maintenance of Portland’s inland waterways and to work in high currents. We cooperated on the design with DE Klop, who supported with dredging production calculations as well as equipment and cost estimations. The maintainability of the vessel was optimized, and our design integrated main cranes, overhead cranes, crane beams, hatches for maintenance, and workshops.

In the expectation that methanol bunkering would be possible in the future, a methanol-ready vessel was important to our client. We fully integrated both methanol and MDO tanks in the vessel, creating a standout design compared to conventional CSD designs.
